Alec, met at a goth concert in Miami Beach at the local bar, Kill Your Idol. Had not seen him around, I introduced myself it was brief. I think we talked about moving down and working it wasn't until months later that we met again.








Twisted roots, I started to frequent more often mid October. Typically after my seasonal job as an assistant manager at Spirit Halloween. I sat at the bar and Alec struck up a conversation in his excited curious way. We talked for the rest of the night about music, the local scene, L.A. Somewhere in there we talked about his music project Ultramarine Highrise and my photography.










Weeks later at twisted he mentioned pursuing modeling. It had been a few months since his first shoot and his hair had grown out. I see some androgynous features which is fun to me and so I offered to shoot him. I also wanted to encourage his hair growth instead of cutting it back for the sake of model consistency.
