LomoChrome Purple
I think I was at ICP in NY when I notice the purple 120 film on the counter, I bought it and took it with me when I went to visit a friend in Washington, DC sometime later. I shot most of it at the congressional cemetery. Three shots while in DC not using LomoChrom Purple

Bones
D uring the first year or two at my house I started doing some yard work and began finding bones throughout different parts of my yard. It was never a full animal laid to rest, It was very unusual. I eventually I gathered a bag worth and not knowing what kind of bones they were. Though some were obviously animal; I took the bag to a police station but they didn’t seem concerned. That was the end of that curiosity still however I was left feeling uneasy about the whole thing

Workers
Workers are usually the overlooked energy in society that keeps everything in order. There’s something about the labor force that I admire and appreciate but am aware of how more often than not are disproportionately rewarded for what they provide to our society. Theirs a hierarchy where some feel certain jobs are less or more important than others and lack the respect everyone should be expressing in gratitude to one another.

Hot Air Ballon
Albuquerque, New Mexico O n that year I took myself to New Mexico to get on a hot air ballon, I wanted to spend this one doing a bucket list item I’ve had. Since my birthday is in March it was cold and on this particular morning very windy. It was almost canceled but the wind calmed down and granted us a clear morning to sail in the sky for a bit. Sedona, Arizona A nother spot on my list was Sedona, Arizona. Many years ago, my high school girlfriends’ mother invited me t

Wet Plate 4x5
I ha d the privilege of having an introduction to wet plate collodion process with Priscilla Ferguson. This was probably around 2008/2009, a process I had hope to revisit and do more of but I never really got to jump on to. The world through it somehow seemed more real because of this fantastic nostalgia for something you've never experienced in the first place. I suppose it's a high appreciation for one of the first process in photography. Going through the process builds p

New Orleans, Louisiana
N ew Orleans 2016 may have been the first city I loved exploring. First time I went I didn't photograph it much, it was during Nov/Dec being someone from Miami it was refreshing to be somewhere with rich history, visual stimulation and feeling the cool weather in the evenings. I returned to see it in the light of Mardi Gras and these are my photographs from that trip.

Darklands
O ff to Amsterdam I went to be in a different city once again, this time for my Birthday. After spending a few days with Hungarian Boyfriend I made it to Darklands in Antwerp, Belgium. The previous two years I either convinced myself not to go, or my mood made it so I let it not happen. After darklands ended I spent a couple days in Breda with my new friends T & K in order to make it out to Rotterdams new Nederlands Fotomusuem which had several floors of enjoyable work. Here

Ultramarine
A lec, met at a goth concert in Miami Beach at the local bar, Kill Your Idol. Had not seen him around, I introduced myself it was brief. I think we talked about moving down and working it wasn't until months later that we met again. T wisted roots, I started to frequent more often mid October. Typically after my seasonal job as an assistant manager at Spirit Halloween. I sat at the bar and Alec struck up a conversation in his excited curious way. We talked for the rest

Berlin Bumble Bizz
A stroke of luck through the app for my first subject! W hile I was in Berlin this last year for an extended period of time, I met two guys. One was a photographer and the other was in music production, both starting out. We met at a bus stop, they wanted to know about my camera. I was carrying my Mamiya C330 at the time. They were surprised to see I was working in film (As most people have stated through the years). We briefly spoke about the difficulties of finding gig

Picking up Speed
Shooting with my Digital Camera T he majority of my work has been done using film. In the past I've attempted to pick up the digital and make work. I quickly rush back to my film cameras as if I had been unfaithful to them. It's been a few years since my last attempt to pick up the digital camera. Things are different now, not because I've been shooting more which I haven't been. Mostly because I feel I've reached a very solid wall . Being terrible at self-marketing, I find m
